      What’s so interesting about this role?

      We are looking for a driven, experienced, and organized Senior Manager, Financial Systems who is inspired by a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to help manage and customize Oracle Fusion and related applications for Grindr after our recent IPO. In this newly-created role, the Senior Manager of Financial Systems will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and will drive transformation and process improvement of Oracle Fusion across functional areas. This is a critical role for the organization’s growth to lead the development, execution, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion and related products. Additionally, this person will help drive process improvements to support Grindr’s growth and evolution as a publicly traded company.

      What’s the job?

      • Lead configuration and customization of Oracle Fusion and related applications, including Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service and Smartview
      • Lead and manage all ongoing maintenance activities to support day to day accounting activities; Responsible for the opening and closing periods, revaluation of foreign currencies and subledger integration
      • Provide ongoing technical support and system maintenance (including training and user requests for custom searches, reports, business KPIs, and dashboards)
      • Analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
      • Perform system testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure the quality and accuracy of Oracle Fusion solutions.
      • Assist in data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into Oracle Fusion applications.
      • Drive business process improvements with a focus on automation
      • Own the chart of accounts and structure and hierarchy maintenance
      • Design controls and ensure operating effectiveness
      • Create and maintain standardized reporting for Accounting and Finance
      • Drive all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
      • Analyze existing processes, and recommend solutions that align with Oracle Fusion best practices.
      • Stay updated on Oracle Fusion application releases, new features, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for system enhancements and process improvements.
      • Provide end-user training and support, including preparing training materials, conducting training sessions, and addressing user questions and issues.
      • Perform various month end account reconciliations and analysis, as directed
      • Complete ad hoc projects

      What we'll love about you

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Management Information Systems or Computer Science
      • Minimum of 7 years of experience with Oracle applications in a functional or technical capacity, ideally Oracle Fusion
      • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on accounting, utilizing Oracle Fusion applications.
      • In-depth understanding of Oracle applications, including Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service and their integration with other systems.
      • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and consolidation.
      • Experience designing and implementing IT controls
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
      • Strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and integrity
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
      • Proactive and a self-starter

      Grindr is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will also be eligible for equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.
